ACI Awards

The ACI Annual Awards are unique in Australia and were created to recognise outstanding contributions by individuals and corporations to the development, understanding, or implementation of compliance systems in Australia and the dissemination of the values associated with those people and businesses who embrace the challenge of embedding compliance, risk, ethics and governance in their organisation.

Nominations are open for the Awards for 2010 and we would invite ACI members to consider nominating for one of the award categories.

There are seven categories of Awards:

· Lifetime Member Award

· Honorary Fellow Award

· Compliance Professional and/or Team of the Year

· Risk Management Professional and/or Team of the Year

· Brian Sharpe Memorial ACI Essay Competition Award

· ACI CCP Graduate of the Year

· ACI Associate Graduate of the Year

The Awards will be presented at the ACI 14th Annual Conference Gala Dinner in October 2010 in Melbourne and Award recipients are selected from nominations submitted nationally and internationally, judged by a five member panel against the published criteria.

Last year we worked on making the nomination process easier by asking nominators to only submit an expression of interest to nominate in the first instance. As this worked effectively we will be adopting this again in 2010. Please find the EOI form and further information on the criteria here. Once submitted, the National Manager will then be in contact with you to work through the rest of the nomination process and to ensure that all of the necessary material is submitted to allow those you nominate to be fairly assessed against the criteria.

Again, we would invite and encourage you to consider nomination either for yourself or someone else. As these awards are unique, it is the only (and best!) way of recognising those who work hard in this profession to achieve the highest standards of excellence, thought leadership and innovation on behalf of their colleagues and organisation.

If you have any questions at all in regard to the awards or criteria please feel free to contact the ACI office. Alternately, by filling in the EOI form and sending back to us we will be in contact with you to work through the process and assist you in completing the nomination.
