Volunteering with ACI
ACI's Vision is to be is recognised in Australasia as the thought leader in the discipline of compliance and to be the association of choice for those professionals engaged in the field of compliance and related disciplines. We seek to serve our members by providing relevant services that support members professionally and enable them to add value to their organisations as well as engaging with external stakeholders to give members a voice to influence the environment in which they operate.
ACI member volunteers are an essential part of building our capabilities to deliver on this vision - members contribute to our governance, committees, working parties for submissions to government and regulators, and speak at our events or write for our publications, as well as contribute to the creation of further resources and research for members.
ACI recognises that volunteering involves a significant donation of an individual's time and expertise. The Institute appreciates this commitment and aims to ensure that volunteering is a rewarding experience for all participants and that our volunteers are properly recognised and acknowledged for their contribution.
We also work to ensure that volunteering with ACI also provides value to members in and of itself, for example, by creating an opportunity for members to acquire new skills or experience for their professional CV or perhaps allowing members to build professional networks. To ensure that the experience is valuable for all participants ACI has a commitment to working with its volunteers to ensure that their personal objectives are met, along with ACI's, and that the management of their involvement is a professional and positive experience.
Please see the latest volunteer invitations below. You can register for any of these opportunities by selecting that option (much like registering for an event). Further information is usually contained in the PDF link for each invitation or you can contact the National Manager directly to discuss further on 02 9290 1788 or by email: naomi.burley@compliance.org.au
